Cattleya Hybrid

Please note that color can vary as many of our hybrids are from seed and not a meristem, the colors vary quite a bit from plant to plant, some of the seedlings will revert to the color of either parent, and some will have a convination of color from the 2 plants used for the hybrid, some will be more instes than the others and will vary from alba to semi alba to very dark. Also light has a great influence on color, for example Cattleya maxima, the plants we grow on the coast have lighter colors than those we grow in the Andes, they have a much darker color due to the intensity of sunlight at this elevation.
